Frame Sliders
I am looking to purchase some frame sliders, bar ends, and whatever else I should get for protection. I know all of the big brands, but I also know there are a lot of smaller brands that sell quality product. I am looking for something more functional than for looks, although I do want something that looks good. Can someone hook up a brief list of some smaller companies, or being a noob owner, some companies I may have not heard off. No links are needed, just some names. Thanks all.

I don't know about "small" but they are often overlooked, Intuitive Race Products makes good quality frame sliders, etc. I have them on my RC51 (& I wouldn't just use any ole slider on that bike). Check them out here... http://inturace.3dcartstores.com/

Good brand^^ as long as you stay away from no-cuts. When it comes to protection it doesnt pay to go cheap n the known brands are proven parts ;)
I would never use no-cuts regardless of whoever makes them. :icon_slap2: |

The Intuitive sliders I mentioned above that I use, have a "through-bolt" that installs in the same location as the engine mounting bolt (takes the place of the factory bolt). This makes for a very secure & stable installation/platform for slider operation & protection of the bike. |
I read that about the throug-bolt on their website. Thanks man. Are they a lot of work to install?

I had a set of T-Rex frame sliders but after laying my bike down I decided to get some vortex sliders to replace the ground down T-Rex ones. I like the vortex ones a lot and they have the replaceable pucks so I don't have to replace the set when It goes down again.

NO-CUTS MAKE YOU CRY WHEN YOU LAY IT DOWN, im man enough to admit that because it happened to me. They will bend, they will crack your crankcase, they will make your life a living hell.
