Fork Spring Upgrade

With all the recent posts about suspension upgrades, I thought some of you might like to see the difference between an 05/06 fork spring anda well respectedaftermarket option. The stock springs are a weak link because of their construction. You will never be able to set the sag properly with the stock springs, no matter how little or how much you weigh.

This shot shows a stock progressively wound spring and a straight rate .90 Ohlins I just popped in my front fork.

If anyones interested, I could post a how-to. Let me know.

Since you insist...

No valving change this time, but I will do a series of posts (as time allows) detailing a spring swap. I'll probably do a TD cartridge over the winter.
