RE: fork lock question?

You need to push down on the key and then turn. Also, make sure that you've turned your bars all the way to the left. It should be as easy as that.

RE: fork lock question?

Sometimes the steering lock (the tab on the frame that keeps you from turning too far) can get worn a bit so you can't turn it all the way to lock it with the ignition. Just move it slightly left to right until the lock cylinder slips into the recess in the frame neck. And like Ehonda said make sure you're pushing the key down as you turn it.

RE: fork lock question?

If you have the handlebars turned too far (full lock), sometimes it won't lock. Push the key down and try to lock it while trying to wiggle the bars slightly in the full lock position. That's happened to me a couple of times.

Hope that helps.
