Fork seals are easy. Won't cost you much at all. Just go to the stealership, order yourself some seals. Get some fork oil and have them look up how much to put in.
Mine took me almost 3 hours the first time. Second time about 1 hour.
Find a guide online and save yourself a lot of cash, Dealer wanted $220 to do mine the first time, that is when I decided to do it myself.

Scan the how-tos there are several excellent pictorials, i believe. Definetly several good write-ups. the seals will run you about $40 bucks. Hardest part is supporting the bike, ;-) Check your steering head bearings at the same time. It doesn't add much to the job but can definetly be worth upgrading the roller-bearings (if there is any doubt).
