Default First night out with new HID

tonight was the first night riding with my new HID. It lit bigger area than OEM headlight. Oncoming car or car in front of me did not seem to be affected by my light. So I can say it is a good. Only thing is I have wires coming out from the headlight cover where we drilled hole. Is there anything like the black plastic wire cover thing used in the car but made out of more like form or rubber kind of material to gather wires and tuck them inside? ( am I making sense?)

Do you mean something like a rubber grommet to let wires pass through the hole but keep water and dust/dirt out?

when you drill a hole in the cover there should be black rubber that cover the hole. the hid bulb comes with it so just pop the black rubber from inside and ull be good, it is not that noticeable.

usually there is black rubber piece attached to hid bulb that goes in the hole if you have to drill the cover.

Maybe I am being a neat freak. I wanted all these wires to be wrapped or tucked inside some sort of rubbery thing like this. But I don;t want to take off the whole thing again. So I was thinking towards on sleeve type that maybe have slit so I can tuck wires inside

There are many solutions for covering the cable, but if you want something that will protect as well as hide I'd reccomend pulling the cable and putting heat shrink tubing on the wiring to protect it.

Ahh, OK. You mean something like a flexible wire loom. They have a split where you can install it over existing cables without having to slide them through the end.

You can get those from an auto supply store or probably a hardware store in the electrical section. I've seen them at Home depot.

they make platic sleeves with a rib cut in the side, once you put the wires in im really knit picky so i like to put a few zip ties around the sleeve just for the heck of it

usually it looks like this, you can get it at your local walmart

Wouldn't plastic one rattle hitting something while riding? I have OCD about noise... that's why I was thinking about flexible ones.
