Fellow Racers
I am racing my 051000RR and am trying to decide if I want the Ohlins, or Penske dampner. Any of you have any experience with either?

RE: Fellow Racers
FYI - Its a damper, or shock. A dampner would be used if you wanted to change the moisture content of your suspension, which doesn't make any sense.
I've had both Ohlins and Penske. I currently have a penske, I'm not as thrilled with it and have had to take more time to get my suspension dialed it. But it was about half the price of the Ohlins. |
RE: Fellow Racers
Ohlins is nicer and more refined but you pay for it. I've got an Ohlins on my F4i and a Penske on my SV650, both are fine, the Ohlins is a little easier to play with and obviously looks 1000x better but they both do essentially the same thing
If your going to be working with a good suspension guy, you should be able to get either set up to your liking |
