Default Feels like I am sliding when I go straight...

Hey, quick question. When I am riding on straight aways it feels like my wheels are sliding. Like I am on a slick surface. At first I thought it was me, but I keep noticing it regardless of the road.

Anyone ever experience this? I recently had the forks replaced fyi

Any advice or things to look at would be great. Thanks!

how did you put the new forks on? did you put the forks on first, make sure they were even, then wheel and axle?

if you put the forks on with the wheel and axle already together into the triples - they may be slightly un even - which could make it feel like the alignment is slightly off....

If the rear wheel is off aligned that makes the bike move slightly sideways what could make it feel it's slippery. Slack in the steering bearings makes the bike "wander" when driving straight.

I had it done at a bike shop in town, so I am not sure how they did it exactly. But from what I am reading I need to get them to look at my alignment? It was done so long ago I doubt they would honor the work. Thanks for the advice too guys
