Question Fairing does not want to stay clipped in...

Since I got the bike it has had this problem.

The right upper fairing does not want to stay clipped into the tank, and so it hangs off a half an inch or so...
Not noticeable to others, but an eye sore to me.

I've tried taking it off and seeing if there was something pushing the upper section off, but there does not seem to be anything protruding enough to push that section off.

The clips also seem to maybe be a little worn. Is there anything I can do you reinforce the clips to make them stay?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

While i agree with

You can just buy new clips, they usually sell the whole set (all the clips for all the fairings) but im sure you can find singles somewhere.

What do you know about the history of the bike ? How do the screw holes line up on the rest of the fairings ? Any possibility of bent brackets or crashes in it's past ?

Everything seems to be aligned, one owner, only has 6.9k miles. No scuffs on any fairing or any of the metal or frame. I took them completely off to check of it just wasn't properly installed, but it appeared to be

They will clip........ Then they pop out. The clips seems to be a little worn on the indents that would hold it on. Anything I could do I reinforce those without just putting some 3M tape under it?

Just buy new clips. They tend to get word down after they've been removed and put back in quite a few time.
