Default F4i and RR Center of Gravity...

Does anyone know if the RR has a Lower CG than the F4i or they are pretty much the same? I have been told the RR has a much lower center of gravity and better weight distribution than f4i, but for what I have been reading, they don't seem to be very different.... Thanks, Alvaro

i can't really see it being different, as they use the same frame and the engines in the same place. You may get a better ride from the suspension changes though, and th efootpegs and bars may well give you a more compact riding position to affect the C of G. Just a thought.

What about the fuel tank? Are they placed in the same position?

the frames are not the same on the f4i and the rr, but as far as the center of gravity goes, i really couldnt tell you, lol

rr frame

f4i frame

the rr's engine blck is lighter and smaller, allowing the engine to set more in the center of the bike, basically, yea, its got a lotta junk to help the C of G a bit more

Just go to the honda website and see what the lean angle would be on it. They will tell you how far you can go on both.

On the RR what you see as the tank is just a tank cover. The fuel tank sits lower in the chasis. Why did Honda do this? To lower the C of G.
