F4 cuttiing out and backfiring
Day b4 yesterday my bike started cutting out and back firing when I get up like 40 in first gear and she wont go over 70 in any gear without doing it consistently. If I short shift threw the gears I can her up to 70 with her cutting out then back firing. I think its an ignition problem since she is cutting out when at high rpms then comes back with a hard surge forward then a loud back fire. SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE.

I would think coils or faulty spark plugs. I would do a resistance check on the coils to make sure they are within spec. If they are, check your spark plugs to make sure they are still good and not fouling. If those are ok, check into the pulse generator to make sure its within spec. The backfiring certainly sounds like an ignition problem.
I don't think the voltage regulator would cause the issue since the bike is running off the battery and not the charging system. But, if the battery's voltage is getting too low at high rpms to keep the bike running like it should, it could cause issues. But, if that were the case, the battery would probably be dying on you. So, I don't think thats the problem, but I've seen stranger things happen.
You honestly think so ????

the battery is only used for starting btw, stator provides energy when the bike is running

ok got new plugs and coils are measure ok. When i take out a coil and ground a spark plug to watch spark something strange happens. If the bike is idling the spark is fine, but as soon as i rev the bike up the spark almost goes away and is very erractic, when i let the gas go the bike backs fire then idles fine. HELP HELP HELP !!!!
