Default exhaust leak after slip-on install--help

need some help guys. ok, i just installed a slip-on and i have an exhaust leak at the mid-pipe to header connection and a small leak at the mip-pipe to can connection. all my clamps are fully tightened down. what products do you guys use to solve this? or is there something im doing wrong? i tried the muffler tape crap and the pipes would not slide on cause of the tape. i tried wrapping it 1x around and it still would not slide on.

thanks guys.

thanks. just bought some of that tonight. the only problem i see with this is its only good up to 700* intermittent. im pretty sure the header and exhaust will get hotter than that. but im still going to try this stuff out.

thanks again

i have to wait for the rain to stop. then ill try and seal these up real good. i couldnt find anything w/a higher temp than the liquid copper stuff. hoping tomorrow after work i can get it done so i can ride this weekend. there is a 24hr fully cure time needed.
