Hi,
I just changed the CDi and rectifier for my 99 model CBR 900RR which had gone bad cos the guy i bought the bike off was running high output headlamps etc. Well after changing these two parts, and putting in a new battery, the Rev meter, the speedometer, temp gauge and odometer is not working. What could be the reason for this? Pls help. i Havent taken this bike for the ride cos i cannot be sure of the temperature and if all electrical is ok. Anyone has a solution to my problem????

 

Are they not working, or are they not showing up at all. If it's the latter then check your fuses. You might've shorted something while changing your battery and what not.

 

backlight is there when bike is started but but the dials for speedo, revv meter dont work. Temp is digital indicator bit only backlight, no dislpay.

 

Does the bike still start up? Most likely a blown fuse. Check your fuse box behind your left fairing.
