***EDIT*** Disabling lights for track
 

I'm about to do my first track day this weekend and I was wondering how do you go about disabling lighting system (headlight, turn signals, brake light and license place light). Do you pull out fuses (seems like easiest approach) or disconnect all connectors (seems like a PITA).

If pulling fuses is an option and you've done it, feel free to let me know which to take out :p

pull the fuses, tape the lights.

You also have the option of just pulling the bulbs out... whichever you prefer.;)

Feel free to check the "stickied" link about the services manuals at the top of this forum. A service manual will tell you what fuses to pull or how to remove the bulbs.. etc.

Thanks guys, I tried pulling fuses but...

Wiring (or something) is wacky on my bike, in that my turn signals are always on and flash only when indicating. This is a problem because even though I pull the TURN SIGNAL/ENGINE STOP/HORN/PASSING fuse, turn signals and tail light stays on - stop light is disabled but tail light stays on. Now when I indicate, turn signal goes out. Does anyone know what would cause this? Previous owner replaced front turn signals with aftermarket LEDs in the front and must have changed something. One guy mentioned that switching front turn signals with rear would cause the indicators to stay on but that doesn't make much sense to me.
