ok whats with all the talk abouit re-jetting your carbs the only 1000 that honda made that had a carb setup on it was the 1000f hurricane. And yeah if jardien is telling you that you need to rejet your bike talk to a different tech or tell them the year of your bike lol

but yeah you shouldnt have any problems with the engine idling lower and it sounds to me like its no tthe wngine just the deeper note of the ehaust that makes you think that you are idling lower cause ive heard the rt-1 in person and thats almost exactly what it sounds like

as for the exhaust gasket off of the mid pipe, get another on from honda and try to fit the bastard ont here cause you might get some leaks but not enough to lower your idle speed......

 

I also put a Jardine on my F4. It sounds great. Have a lsiten.
