Default Crossed battery terminals cbr f4i

Was installing new battery tender battery and crossed terminals. Heard a small pop when it touched and saw my dash never came on after i properly connected the battery.

I tried the old battery next, and it didnt make my dash turn on either. Next O put the new battery back in and went to local shop for a new 30A fuse and replaced it. But still wont send power to the bike, and the fuse didnt look burnt out.

Checked the other fuses next to the box. The aux ones 10A & 20A. None looked damaged. What is my next step

Which 30a fuse did you replace? The 30a main fuse isn't in the fuse box...

I replaced the "spare" one. I was like that doesnt feel right. It didnt "plug" in. I replaced the 30A visibly seen which was the spare. So after another google search i found that it is the spare and to pull that plug off to find the damaged one. No wonder the one i pulled looked new. Lol but its fixed. Never replaced a fuse on a vehicle before. Never needed to until now.

Fix has been found and the dash respondes now. Havent started it up yet, forgot to bring the key from the house, my apt is across the complex from the garage where it is stored. But the dash cluster works.
