Default Cowl Stay problem...

One of the threaded peice that my mirrors bolt to have came out of the stay. It looks like a little eyelet with threads. Can this peice be JB welded back into place for a fix ?? Really dont feel like spending another $100 just because that one eyelet came out of place, but my mirror wont stay in place without it.

How about drilling a hole were the eyelet was and using a longer bolt, so that it protrudes thru the hole, then just screw a nut to it. If you trim the bolt correctly, it’ll hardly be noticeable.

You dont even have to drill it out. Just get a longer bolt with the same diameter and a nut. Cost ya a buck or two.
