so i need some technical advise on a fork swap,, what i need to know is:
i have a 95 cbr900 with obviuosly 95 frontshocks and what i'd like to do is buy this guys Complete front end off of a 06 gsxr 1000 forks tripple clipons and calipers.. for two reasons a to be able to move to a 17'rim easier plus have the newer stopping power and finally just the fact that their inverted forks..
well heres a pretty big question which i'm praying someone will be able to answer.. will his 05 tripple trees/clamps work with my steering stem?? or has anyone ever done any kind of conversion like this?? and know what direction i should be moving in to accomplish an upgrade like this???
im chomping at the bit.. ill take any and all advice...

Gonna basically come down to steering-head stem length. That and bearing races
fitting the inside of gsxr, outside fitting CBR. If the stem will reach thru the frame
mounts and still torque down on the bearings, it should work.
Caution should be noted about variance in fork lengths, changing the steering geometry.
If the new forks are shorter, combined with going to a 17" from a 16" is possibility
of clearance issues with the radiator when combined with extreme fork compression.
As well, there's the possibility of a slighty harsher ride (more un-sprung weight=more inertia
to counter-act), which may negate the point of design to reversed forks.
I have NOT done this kind of mod, these are just my thoughts on the issues
and possible pit-falls you're likely to encounter.

thanks guys.. ive been watching this thread and think he still has the forks..
i actually bought a spare bike for parts and pulled the whole front end apart just so i could bring the 900 trees and stem with me if can still get them...
mean while i got a bit side tracked with a r/r failure.. so i replaced my stator at the same time... this all went down last week so kinda side tracked me... but i appreaciate the advice... if i do them ill put it back in this thread and let you know how it worked out...
