layed my bike down last saturday and now the clutch is making some strange noise. ive done some researching on the forum and i seem to have the same problem as this guy.

my clutch isnt anywhere near as loud as that but i dont want it to get to a point that it is.

im going to open it up and look for any signs of wear and scoring as recommended in the post above, but is there any do's and do not's i should be aware of that others have learned the hard way? places that i should be looking. should i consider replacing plates or anything else while im in there? the bike is a 03 600rr with 29000km on it/ 18,125 miles
