If that's all you're doing, the clutch should last you the life of th bike.

Clutchless shifting does not wear the clutch any faster if done properly!!!!!

ok, see i've always driven all stick cars and never burned one ever even with almost 95k on my audi so i thought at 4500 slippage was wrong....man i put in amsoil 10w40 and its slipped twice today under accel....i reached rev limiter coming outta first at 85....i mean wtf...im gonna try rebleeding the clutch but man spring pressure should hold it even with air...i guess amsoil really is that slippery lol...and i weigh 242

what weight of Amsoil did you out in....if like a 5w30 or 10w30, those are still energy conserving blends....

I would just get some Barnet/EBC or other race springs for it...maybe $15.

first gear 85mph?!?!?!?!

rebleeding the clutch? unlike a car, it runs from the same oil as the engine. no need to rebleed anything. i suggest you get an owners manual and study it to learn about your bike before you start dianosing it.

definately. that is the first thing i did when i got my bike was buy a service manual and learn the bike through and through

oh and i ride pretty much the same way and i have 26k on my clutch.... no slippage at all but still gonna replace it just to have a new one....

It's all in how you treat it that will determine how long it lasts...don't slip the clutch and it'll last a long longtime! My bike still has the original clutch with 87k miles and still grips perfectly fine, and my Accord the original clutch lasted 321k miles, and it never slipped just one of the damper springs actually broke and jammed the clutch
