Charging

My bike had a new motobatt battery 2 years ago and has been fine, but noticed today it’s slower cranking the engine when cold. I do mainly short journeys, but do have it on an oxford solar charger when not used. I took some readings today and just want to check if it’s my battery on its way out or charging system. It reads about 12.58 not started and reading is 13.85 when revs are over 2-3000 revs, are these readings about right guys?
Thanks

Sounds about right. How low does it get when cranking?

I’ve not tested that, but will test it in the morning, any idea what’s good and what’s not, assuming if it’s too low then a new battery needed

10.5v would be ok. Anything below 10v is trouble.

If it seems my charging system is ok then I’ll just get a new battery,it’s only a matter of time before it dies

A new battery is never a bad thing.

I’ve just done a check on my battery and the reading on cranking is 9.75?
