Default RE: Changing TIRES???

If you have any bike shops around they sell tire tools for about 10-15 bucks. They work wel and are fairly easy to use. Just let the air out and use one bar to pry the bead over the wheel. Just be carefully when you do it. I ended up having to buy another tire for my dirtbike the first time I did it. I also managed to punch my self in the face. Dont know how I managed to do that.

Unless you have an air compressor, 3 tire tools, a bead breaker, a static balancer and a swingarm stand ... don't even attempt it. Some nylon rim savers are also a plus (keeps from scratching the wheel). I got the tire changer from Harbor Freight with the motorcycle attachment. Works really nice -- takes about 15 minutes to completely change a tire (not including removal from bike).
