Default Chain O-Ring problem

Hey guys i was wondering i am missing a few O-Rings on my chain and wasnt sure if i should replace it or just let it go for now. Will it damage the sprocket if i dont fix it soon or will it just not lube the chain properly?

Same thing I posted in another chain thread: Missing o-rings = replace.

Missing o-rings will cause increased chain wear and make the chain more susceptible to outside contaminants.

Ditto. Just keep an eye on the tension and change it at your earliest opportunity. If you've got o rings missing then a) you've got bloody good eyesight and b) it's well past its use by date.

Should be replacing the sprockets with the chain. The wear pattern on the current sprockets will affect the chain and vice versa.

The uneven wear while the new chain and old sprockets adjust to themselves will be more than the wear on the old chain + old sprockets. Just don't ask me how much it'll knock off the new chain's life.

Just keep the riding low key and keep a good eye on that tension. A stretching chain can be a good indicator that it's on it's way out.
