Default CBR600F3 idle

Hi guys

Another question what is the idle like on ur guys cbr600f, I set mine to 1200rpm at operating temp as per manual. Carbs synchronised, fuel screws at standard 2 turns out. The idle does bounce a bit, not super steady, is this normal? Asked a bike mechanic and he said it's not out of the ordinary for these bikes to "hunt" as he worded it at idle. Is this true or shall I investigate further? I was going to look at coil resistances next as one seems like to give a weak spark (white not fat blue) when I tested it.

One or more of your carbs has restricted low-speed jets.

Does idle hold steady if you add choke? Full choke?

Also vacuum-leaks will do this. Caused by cracked or loose vacuum hoses. Cracks or gaps in rubber manifolds between carbs and head.

Thanks for that insight, it does idle steady on choke actually.
i am fairly confident the pilot jet is not restricted I have removed and cleaned those carbs must be half a dozen times now. Including removing the jets. I will check the carb boots they are the originals
thanks
