I have a 1999 cbr 600 f4 i was riding today for about 5-10 miles bike running perfectly normal bike all of the sudden loses throttle response down shift try again little bit of response but basically nothing put it in nuetral and coast it to the side of the road. After getting it home and checking air filter and messing with the bike a bit i can now get it to start consistently with choke revs fine but as soon as the choke is off the bike dies. Any advice helps thx

 

1. tank vent clogged? test with tank cap open

2. clogged petcock not flowing enough? Remove fuel-hose from carbs and aim into measuring cup. Crank engine 10sec. How much petrol did you collect?
