CBR 500r 2017 attempted theft

last night someone cut the wires to my ignition and tried to steal my bike. I sodered the wires back together and extended them, but the electrical issues remain. The bike's electronics start for less than 5 seconds and then the bike goes dead again. I got the bike to start once in the 10 times i have tried. After an attempt to turn the bike on it will go completly dead for something like 5-10 mins. I replaced all the fuses under the seat with new ones, and i took the battery and got it charged at the auto shop. My sodering job im sure is not the best, but im not understanding why the bike will only turn on for a few seconds and then go dead.

Are you sure it's not shorting out somewhere? When it "goes dead" what happens next? Does it come back to live straight away, or?
