Cassete gearbox. How hard is it to replace one?
Hi,
Its not a CBR, but its a Honda CB1000R, Motor should be very similar to a 2006 CBR1000rr, It has a cassete gearbox, that is not working properly.
I have considered taking the risk and getting a used transmission and just replacing it, But I have no experience with it.
How difficult is it to replace a cassete gearbox? Do I need any special tools, or are there any specific steps I need to take, to get the old box out, new box in and everything working(assuming the replacement box is good).
Any advice would be much appreciated.
