Carfaxes?
Hey guys, I'm going to check out a 2003 CBR600RR tomorrow and was hoping somebody here worked at a dealer and could run the carfax on it?

Just want to make sure there's nothing fishy on it, guy seems like a stand up guy so I doubt anything will show up but my usual carfax runner is MIA.
Let me know if somebody can help, thanks!
(I already van a check on the NICB and nothing bad came up so it should be good, just double checking!)

Why exactly?
This is the cheapest 05-06 I can find in the area:
2005 Honda cbr 600rr
vs. the 03 I'm looking at...

I think the 03 is prices high and I wouldn't give him over $3,500 but it does look cleaner and I could use an extra jacket/helmet for the ladies to use. Plus this one is supposed to have the valve adjustment done already vs. the 05 which I doubt has (probably part of the reason he's selling).
I'm still a fairly new rider, is the 05 THAT much better? The 05 in this case seems to have a weird windscreen and doesn't look as clean to me...

I got a check run, checks out with two owners and no accidents.
I talked the guy down to $3,400 with the spare lower fairings (undamaged), two helmets and a textile jacket (so I can take ladies along without purchasing too much more gear), and...HELMET BAGS!!!!!
Yeah, any reason I shouldn't do this?

Sounds like a steal! I only think you should go for the 05 because it comes with USD forks, and the bike just looks so much more updated. No real reason really, just projecting my personal opinion
