Can't tell if I spun a bearing or got gunk in the motor
Well basically, im on my third motor, the first one had a bad crank shaft, second one had a bad trans a blew a piston and this one i dun really know. Well right now its not making any type of ticking noise at idle like when i spun the bearing the first time but when you ride above like 4k you can here some kinda ticking in the motor. I thought it was the cct but i adjusted it and played around with it and nothing. However, i'm also think it might be a piece from the heli coil i installed, i never found the tang when i put it in the spark plug so im hoping it finally popped up and is bouncing around inside the cylinder. Any insight on what a ticking could be when not at idle but only udner loads?

You can do a compression and leak down test to determine whether or not it's a bent valve before you start taking the engine apart.
It's hard to determine the cause of a noise like that without hearing it in person, but if it's only under a load it could be detonation/pinging. If it ran fine previously and only started after doing the helicoil I would suspect a problem related to that first though. Either way if there is a major mechanical issue with the engine the compression & leak down tests should show something..
