After careful review of this thread, I have concluded that the best place to mount your license plate would be in a large envelope addresses to your state's department of motor vehicles. I would also advise modding your bike with a cool "For Sale" decal.

How is mounting the license plate on the ECU comparable to mounting it on the back of the helmet where it is visible 50' rear of the vehicle?
