Default Brake light wont work after blinker install..

I installed some flush mounts on my 06 cbr600 f4i. So heres what I did, the flush mounts are 2 wire but old ones were 3, so I cut off the old connector, twisted two of the wires together and connected it to the new 2 wire blinker. Now my blinkers and my rear blinkers are on 24/7 kinda like daytime running lights. Also now my integrated rear brake light doesnt work and it just lights up orange. Doesnt light up red like its supposed to when I hit the brakes. What did I do wrong with the blinker Install? I figured two of the wires were grounds so I just connected them and it works but my brake light doesnt.. help pleaseeee

looks like you've joined the Orange (left turn indicator wire) to the Orange/White (Running Light ) and the same on the right side with the Light Blue and Light blue/White . What was the Kit you used

I didn’t use any kit I just used the old connectors from the old blinkers and spliced them together, do you have a link to any wire adapters that will work? They are two wire blinkers.

The green wire is the ground. The orange wires are your hot wires for function. Same goes for the light blue on the other side.

Hook up the green to one wire, and the orange (blue) to the other. leave the orange/white (blue/white) disconnected.

yellow and black. I have a pic of me testing the connections, black to green, yellow to both blues, on the right side of the bike.

the only problem is.. the old connector I used broke and I only had like half an inch of wire left on it so I soldered in some 18ga wire into the 2 wire connector so i’m kinda screwed on that.. id need a new connector, if theres any aftermarket solution id rather do that

Your going to have to somehow extend the two wires that you joined together into a connector that could be easily taken off when releasing your fairings, any way that will lengthen the 2 orange and blue wires will work, here in the UK we dont have the running lights so I dont know how that affects you legally
