On Sunday I had to take evasive maneuvers to avoid an idiot taking over the whole road and forced me to hit a pot hole on the side of the road.
I staid on and was ok but both my wheels are bent bad
The bike is covered by my insurance and is at the dealer but I don’t trust them, is there specific places that I should look for damage????
here are some pics so you can get an idea

Damn, thats a good pothole. I wouldnt worry about other damage too much. Get you some new wheels, and tires ( could have easily busted up the cords). Check your fork seals also, but looking at the hit i doubt you bent rotors or anything as severe as that. Oh and nice job keeping it upright.

+1 on new tires along with the wheels.

If you dont trust your dealership, go to another one. The worst mistake you can make in this type of situation is have a dealership that you dont trust. You need to be on a good level with them. Especially if later on, say a month or two down the road, your seals give out. It will be nice to have a dealership there to back up your claim that it happened stemming from this incident. At the very least, talk to the dealership and ask them what they will do if something else fails down the road.

the reason I say later on is a friend of mine had a similar incident. His wheels were no where near as bad as yours, but he hit a curb. He changed the wheel and went on his way riding. About a month later, one of his fork seals started leaking, then the other one with in about 100 miles of the other. He took it in and found out his forks were bent. Not bad, but bad enough that after the incident, the bent forks wore the seal out. You couldnt visibly see it, but once it was measured, you could see the runout. He bought the bike brand new and only had about 3000 miles on it. no wheelies or anything either.. so I'm sure it was from the curb.

+ another 1 for keeping it up..

IIRC, Doncollins did a post about a wheel repair place. Hope the info saves you some green.
