Bad Charging System or Battery
Hey all:
I did a poor job of storing my bike over the cold season this year. pretty much just filled the tank shut off the gas and parked with the wheels on some cardboard in the garage.
I went to start it when I got home from out of state and had to to give it a jump to get it to start. The bike will stall out every time. I am trying to determine of it is the stator/rectifier or the battery that could be the cause of this. Is there any easy way to determine???? Or just process of elimination?
Thanks for your time.
Bike will be up for sale as soon as I can work out the bug and get it tuned up.

^ I've seen that link lots of times and there's nothing in it that's incorrect.
