Unhappy Back brake failure

This morning with my girlfriend on pillion, my back break just failed. The pedal seemed to had lost its resistance and would push all the way down without effect. I pulled over to check and all the springs were attached and in place, the break fluid container is full, and nothing seemed loose or broken. I got back on and after pumping a bit and leaving it for a while, I tried again and it worked. I stress tested it a bit more and it seems good again.

I've never had this, anyone else ever had this happen to them?

Sounds like air/moisture in the system. It's a good idea to flush/bleed the brakes
about every other season, to remove contaminants. I'm betting if you look at the fluid
it is a murky brown color. Do a search in the how-to mechanical for a good pictorial
and discussions on this procedure.

Then take it back and have them re-bleed the line.
This should count as warrenty work.
