For the first question, the bike's probably been dropped and the forks are tweaked.

First, you loosen the lower clamps on the tripple-tree, get on the bike and pump the bars
(with the front brakes on). Then, re-tighten the clamps. That can fix mild alignment issues.

If it needs more/greater correction, loosen the bottom fork clamps and have a buddy
torque the wheel (in the appropriate direction) while you hold the bars.
Then hold the bars straight and see if the front tire is properly lined up to the axis of
the bike. If not rinse and repeat.

The ticking sound could be a number of things. The cam-chain tensioner is not doing
it's job, the drive-chain could be rubbing. Try to determine where the noise is coming
from. Does it do it when parked and you rev the engine? Only when it's rolling?
Is it coming from the engine, front or rear of the bike?

Hope this helps, Ern

It's sounding like the cam-chain tensioner. Is it a sound like swirling a steel can of bb's?
Sound increase as the engines reved? A little "whir" is common
(especially, idling) but the 'tinking' sound isn't.

You might try taking it to the local dealer-ship and get them to listen to it.
Tell them you think it might be the CCT, "What do you think?"

In my experience, they are usually happy to give it a quick listen/peek and
offer a free, professional 'guestimate'. Just don't expect a lot if they are busy
with paying customers. I try to give my local Honda dealer enough of
my business, he knows me and courts my business.

Hope this helps, Ern
