Default Alarm Question

hello,
I recently bought an motorbike alarm for my 600rr. I was wondering if I should install it myself or should I just pay a pro to install it for me. What do you guys think is the best option.

Send it back and get a scorpio..Then install it yourself. The scorpio's are plug and play with the right connector kit.Plus it is all one unit(siren, battery back up etc).

Its kepts faulting out. The sensor (perimeter) wouldnt work.Antenna broke, wouldnt work from more than 10 ft. So many things. Just got fed up with it. I paid $130 for my internatrix and 2 remotes so i was just trying something cheaper since the expensive didnt work. Worked great ever since.

I have a chatter box alarm that does a good job. Came on the bike when I bought it. I will sell it for $20. Its a plug and play kit. Easy to install. The reason I uninstalled it was because if someone wants to steal my bike they are going to, so I figured why have a alarm on their draining the battery for "False protection". Thats just my .02, but I still have that alarm for sale. Lojack is the only protection I would trust.

i also just got an internatrix system and installed it myself. there are 7 wires to hook up to have all of the features, but if you just want the motion sensor and the vibration sensor it is only 5. piece of cake to install took about an hour and a half from start to finish. (taking off fairings, figuring out where to mount everything)
