Is there anyone in the Akron area that has a fuel pump to try??? I need to hook up another fuel pump to my bike to see if that is the problem. I tried everything. Checking electrical connections. It is a 98 cbr f3. Any external fuel pump should work. They are too expensive to buy just to test. Plus you cant return anything electrical that is used. It makes a "thump" about every 3 secs. or so. I looked in the manual and tried every test I could without having the special Honda tools. Everything is pointing to the fuel pump, but like I said earlier, it is an expensive test.
