Hey guys i am having trouble adjusting the fuel/air mixture on my bike(94 f2). I got the impression from the online manual that it is the pilot screw that i need to adjust... but i cant find it. Also if anyone else has any insight into why i have a little sputtering and hard start it would be appreciated. Thanks

There are several things that could be the cause. Spark plugs could be one. Cylinder pressure being low in one hole. Coil pack going bad if you have them. Spark plug wire if you have those. Could be your idle fuel mixture, but that would not be my first guess. As for adjusting carbs. It is far easier to really screw things up than it is to make it better when you don't know exactly what you are doing. So, if you don't know exactly what you are doing I'd recommend doing nothing yourself. At least have someone with experiance there if you just get them to do it.

Might be hidden behind those little pressed-in metal cups. Honda puts them on to keep owners from messing up the mixture, and because EPA makes them. But I wouldn't change the mixture until each carb is cleaned from top to bottom (including every jet in the float chamber, each air bleed, and each piston/diaphram and piston wall), the carbs are synched, and I checked out the spark plug's color.
