Took my bike to a guy to get the carbs rebuilt because it was shooting flames out the exhaust, but other than that it ran fine. Then he decided to do a bunch of other work to it that just made it worse, this was a year ago and he threw a bunch of parts at it. After the carb rebuild the bike would start but ran like ***, so he replaced coils fuel level sensor, and for some reason flashed the computer.. so what the issue now is, the bike will start and run but only if held at WOT, and will only get up to 1k rpm. i don't want to just start throwing parts at it so im looking for some direction of what the cause could be. Has the updated RR, all fuses are good, im just kinda stumped at this point. Cant really justify taking it to a dealer because the bike has 70k miles on it and i dont feel like putting too much more $$ into it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

This might sound dumb but simple things first: Air, spark, fuel. Is it flashing codes?
