Run down of what has been done recently. Was having charging issues so replaced the rectifier and fixed the issue. Still wasn't running right and would die after riding for 10 minutes. Fuel pump was making a loud screeching noise and was super hot to the touch. New fuel pump was put in 6 month ago. Diagnosed it as the fuel pump relay by bypassing the relay. Fuel pump stopped getting hot but the damage was done. Put in new relay and new fuel pump. Road good for a week and now the fuel pump is getting super hot again and the bike dies. Anyone have this problem before and how did you fix it??

 

Have you checked your system voltage?

Are the fuel pump wires getting hot too?

 

The voltage is at 14 when revving to 5000 rpm. I did not feel the wires getting hot just the pump. I let it cool down and restarted the bike and it was hot again after a minute.
