I have read all the threads about 600 v. 1000 cowls. I have a 07' 1000 and the vented mesh cowl look is tacky, IMO. I read that the 600 cowl fits the 1000. I read the 600 will not fit the 1000. I was told by a Honda dealership that only the vented mesh cowl will fit the 1000. To hell with the mesh cowls. it doesn't lay flush, looks bulky, not a nice look at all for a 1000. So I turn to fellow CBR riders, let's put a final end to the dilema. The 05-07' 600 cowl will fit 1000's...correct?

 

They dont make any after market cowls for it? could you find any one with a 600? I see tons of the new ones around town, see if one of them will pop the rear seat off to compare it with yours. sorry to answer your quesiton with a question.
