Default 2004 cbr600 f4i tank leak

Hey guys,

I opened my gas tank gasket from under the tank. It keeps leaking every time I put it back in. I picked up a new Honda GASKET, BASE Part # 17574-MBW-D20
rubber seal but I still get a leak when I tilt the tank.

I did see https://cbrforum.com/forum/f4i-main-...sembly-146028/ for reference. The leak happens after I criss-cross the six bolts in and tilt the tank, it starts from behind the bolts around the gasket base rubber seal.

I have no rust, I can post pics if you guys like. I feel I am missing a small piece of the puzzle. Please help!!!

Here are the images. I got the sealant yesterday, after a day the leak is reduced from dripping from the area marked to one leak in less quantity.

When you install it, shine a flashlight into the tank and look at the seal from the inside, it's really easy to pinch that rubber seal. Wiping a little bit of oil around it before install helps prevent that from happening.
