20,000 miles time for valve adj??

I have recently purchased a 1996 cbr 600 and it just ticked 20,000 and i was wondering if it is time for a valve adjustment or anyother serious matenaince. I am not a huge bike guy so i was hoping for some help.

Thanks

A valve check and/or adjustment is scheduled every 16k miles. So you are overdue. But it is possible that the valves may still be in spec. Should you decide to check your valves yourself, here you go:
