1996 CBR 900RR Issues
My 900RR is having chewing issues. I have a new stator on order and believe that will fix it. My question is does the stator sit in oil? I pulled bolts out of stator cover and oil started dripping out. I put bolts back in until new one arrives. Cover has been jb welded by previous owner.

Yes I believe the stator does sit in oil. What problems are you experiencing?
