1995 CB 1000 Front brakes squealing with new EBC pads and rotors.
Hello,
I知 having some issued with the front brakes squealing on a 1995 CB1000.
Currently running EBC MD1056 front rotors and EBC FA187 Kevlar/organic pads. I知 getting extremely loud brake squealing. Tried running FA187HH sintered pads with the same results. Tried running with and without the cooling back plate that comes with the FA187HH, same squealing. Tried some anti seize compound in between the pad and the pistons, problem persists. Tried SBS 622HS sintered brake pads as well, I知 getting the same squealing problem.
Everything is installed and torques per the factory shop manual. Calipers and associated hardware, all are in very good condition. Brake rotors were cleaned with brake cleaner. Brakes work great, have good feel.
Any suggestions on how I can stop the squealing? It's pretty embarrasing.
