1988 CBR 1000F

Hello Everyone,
I own a 1988 CBR 1000F. Great bike, no problems other than tire choice. Hope some can help with the following: I've been to and called numerous dealers and have gotten conflicting answers. I have bias ply tires on the bike now. I want to know if I can switch to radials without any adverse effects. Has anyone had a problem with a bike like mine going to radials?
Thanks

refreash my memory... 16" wheels or 17? i know the 80's were happening times for wheel design and i get confused sometimes. i guess it really doesn't matter...

if you can find Radial tires in your bike's size, they are a definite improvement over bias ply. however for typical road riding bias is quite capable. today's bias ply tires are not the bias ply tires of the 80's...
