Aftermarket headlight wiring questions
So I ordered a streetfire style headlight assembly for my 95 cbr600 f3. Supposed to mount it on the forks (by removing old headlight assembly, gauges etc). But I want to keep my gauge cluster. So i'm mounting it where the stock headlight is.
But heres my question. The headlight assembly came with no wiring diagrams. Has a lo-beam light, and a high-beam light... with also a small illumination bulb that runs off the lo-beam, but sits in the high-beam housing. I used my voltmeter and found that when i moved the + to - and vice versa on each bulb, they had a lower ohm reading respectively to which i held the + and - probes on. So would my highest, or lowest ohm reading be the correct positive and negative for the bulbs?
I took a drill battery and quickly brushed the wires for each bulb to the + and - on the battery, but got no light so I tried the other way, but also got no light. The filliments are good in the bulbs.
