This bike has 465 miles on it jusy changes oil and added a gilpro shift indicator. Started up to check oil level all is good -set shift indicator all is good.Ready to ride wrong.The best I can describe is when you put in gear it kills the motor.Anybody out ther had this problem ?

 

depending on how and where the shift indicator is wired you may either have something going on with the neutral switch on the clutch side or maybe something with the side stand switch...not familiar with where the indicator is placed and how it's wired but I would start there

 

I figured out the problem-everybody is going to get a laff out of this. The bike was on stands while changing oil,had the belley pan off and when putting left rear belly pan bolt in what do you have to do ? lower the the side stand ! What a dum ***. My other bike is 1983 Magna V65. It don't have that kind of tech I had no clue
