So I bough an 04 CBR with blown engine, found a good deal on a 05-06 engine but I can't fine any info if the engine will fit?

Please any help much appreciated before I purchase the 05-06 engine.

Hi! I have the Haynes manual that covers years 1999-2006 and there is nothing in it that would suggest that your 05-06 engine won't fit your 04 model frame. Check all the locating bolt holes etc for similarity. Good luck with the rebuild.
