Default 02 F4I Please help

Hey everyone,

If I could get some help with this is would be greatly appreciated.

Here it goes, I went to do the Clean air mod on my bike while checking through the airbox for problems with the FPR. While I had the air box off I cranked the motor to see if gas was going into the intake cause I read that was one way to see if the FPR is bad. Well now I can't get the bike started. It's getting gas and spark.(spark plugs keep getting wet with gas and fuel pump is priming) Have killed the battery twice. I put everything back original without the clean air mod to see if that would solve the problem and I still have nothing. I can hear the starter relay click when I turn the ignition on and it tries to turn over it just won't. I did forget to put the map sensor vacuum line on when I first did the clean air mod but then when I went back in I put it back on. any ideas?

I would recheck all your connections to make sure you didnt forget something.

You dont crank the bike to see if its bad, you just unplug the vacuum hose and see if fuel comes out of it.

ive hade this problem on quads before. you may have fouled the plugs just enough that while theyre out and dry you get a spark but in while theyre getting fuel the spark stays down inside instead of jumping to the tip. take a file and file the area between the electrode and the tip then try cranking it. if it starts or seems to try alot harded get some new plugs. also if you do this tonight leave the battery disconnected till tomorrow while the plugs are out. then you know your cylinders are dry and the computer can reset. ive seen this on one of my buddies older bikes also. he forgot to connect his coil after some engine work and wasted a grip of money because when he pulled his plugs out and held them to frame to check the spark they "looked" good. he finnally called me over, not that i found it quick, and i filed the plugs a little and it fired right up. he replaced the plugs cause the next day it started sputtering and no probs since.

Thanks guys. I got it figured out. I just had it flooded real bad and didn't disconnect the fuel pump while trying to blow it out. once i disconnected it and blew it out it started right up.
