So if you don't notice your glaring spelling error or just a simple miss key before posting you seem to be stuck with looking like a right Muppet for eternity.

Is this a deliberate policy to expose those that ingest too much alcohol or are dyslexic before posting or a mere oversight?

Then again, I may have missed something in the instructions of "How to drive the Forum"?

PM a mod or an admin when you sober up and realize the error. Its an easy fix.

That is certainly an interesting life style choice that you have suggested.

However, in the event that, that may not be an achievable state anytime in the foreseeable, is there an alternative?

Have you tried editing your first post, and choosing the advanced tab? I think you can edit the title there, but I'm not sure if it will change it or give the post a title.

If not, it takes the mod version to have the tool to do it.
